Yes, all seafood in our MOJI sushi rolls is fully cooked.

Our surimi is made from certified sustainable Wild Alaska Pollock which is caught by mid-level trawlers off the shores of Alaska in the northern Pacific Ocean. State-of-the art fishing vessels ensure that every fish is caught, prepared, and frozen right onboard within minutes of capture.

Yes, because our surimi is made from Wild Alaska Pollock. All U.S.-caught Wild Alaska Pollock is sustainably managed and harvested under strict U.S. regulations. We comply with fisheries and trade regulations that discourage illegal harvest conduct or fraudulent supply chain activity. We’re committed to helping maintain safe and sustainable fisheries and seafood across all of our products.

Alaska’s seafood is rated LOW in concerns regarding contamination by pesticides, petroleum derivatives, PCBs, metals, and bacteria.

All MOJI products are either MSC or ASC certified sustainable.

Always consult your doctor regarding medical decisions but because our surimi is made from Wild Alaska Pollock it is rated low for levels of mercury. The same goes for our tuna. It is a safe and healthy choice for pregnant women.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend that pregnant or breastfeeding women weekly eat 8 to 12 ounces (2-3 servings) of a variety of seafood from choices that are lower in mercury, such as Alaska Pollock and tuna.

Alaska’s seafood is rated LOW in concerns regarding contamination by pesticides, petroleum derivatives, PCBs, metals, and bacteria.

All of our MOJI products are ready to eat and produced with Good Manufacturing Practices, therefore minimising the risk of Listeriosis or other food safety concerns.

Our products are made from certified sustainable seafood, including wild-caught Alaska pollock. Most MOJI products are MSC-certified.

Even though we are not halal-certified, we only use halal ingredients in our facility and implement halal practices in our manufacturing processes.

Please see the allergen statement on the product label.

Yes, our products are frozen to maintain the high quality and minimize food safety concerns. In fact, the FDA recommends freezing “sushi grade” fish to kill dangerous parasites that can be present in seafood.

Of course! We also include wasabi (if you’re the spicy type).

Extremely! Try our sushi and we’ll let you be the judge.

Our facility is in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, 16-miles south of Seattle, WA.

FAQ

@mojisushi_usa

Is pizza a vegetable?

After the Senate decided to categorize the tomato sauce on pizza as a vegetable, Michelle Obama launched Let’s Move, a healthy food initiative back in 2010. We decided to go out and make a difference, so we quit our corporate jobs.

Selling sushi from the trunk of our car

We bought 20 trays of California rolls from a local grocery store, loaded them into an Igloo cooler, and delivered them to a local school. The kids loved it, and soon we were delivering to other schools in the area.

Moving into the
school kitchen

Soon enough we started making sushi in one of the school’s kitchens. Rolling sushi at night, selling it by day. Then we bought an empty factory in Seattle and the rest is history...

Today

Today MOJI produces more than 1 million pieces of sushi per day for schools and grocery stores all over the US.
